What live baccarat is
Live baccarat is a card game streamed from a real casino studio. A human dealer handles the cards, and you watch the action on your screen. The goal is to predict which hand—Player or Banker—will come closest to nine. You can also bet on a Tie.
The game uses a standard eight-deck shoe. Cards two through nine are worth their face value. Tens and face cards are worth zero. Aces are worth one. If a hand totals ten or more, you drop the first digit: a hand of 15 becomes 5.
How to read the table layout
When you open the table in the lobby, you will see a grid with three betting areas: Player, Banker, and Tie. Each area shows the payout odds. Banker typically pays 0.95 to 1, Player pays 1 to 1, and Tie pays 8 to 1. The commission on Banker wins is deducted automatically.
Below the betting areas, you will see the roadmaps—bead plate, big road, and big eye boy. These show past results in coloured circles. Red usually means Banker, blue means Player, and green means Tie. Do not use them to predict the next hand; each round is independent.
Placing your first bet
First, check your ringgit balance in the top corner of the screen. Then click on a chip value from the chip tray. The platform will show the minimum and maximum bet for that table—usually RM25 to RM10,000 for standard tables. Click the Player, Banker, or Tie area to place your chip.
You have a short countdown to confirm your bet. Once the timer ends, the dealer deals two cards to Player and two to Banker. If either hand totals 8 or 9, it is a natural and the round ends. Otherwise, a third card may be drawn according to fixed rules.
Understanding the third card rule
The third card rule is automatic and does not require any decision from you. If Player’s hand totals 0–5, Player draws a third card. If Player stands on 6 or 7, Banker draws if its hand totals 0–5. Banker’s draw depends on Player’s third card when Player draws.
You do not need to memorise the full chart. The dealer and the software handle it. Your only job is to choose which side to bet on before the round starts. This simplicity makes baccarat popular among beginners who want a slow, clear game.
What to check in the lobby
Before you join a table, look at the table limits. The minimum bet is shown in ringgit. Also check the number of players currently seated. Fewer players often means a faster game. The platform also shows the language of the dealer—English or Bahasa—so you can pick one you understand.
Some tables offer side bets like Player Pair or Banker Pair. These pay higher odds but carry a higher house edge. Beginners should stick to the main Player or Banker bet. Banker has the lowest house edge, around 1.06%, making it the most straightforward choice.
Depositing and withdrawing funds
To play for real money, deposit ringgit using an e-wallet like Touch 'n Go or a bank transfer. The site will show the minimum deposit amount, often RM10 or RM25. Deposits are usually credited instantly. Your ringgit balance updates in the top bar of the lobby.
